Parma is Italy’s Capital of Culture 2021
Parma was nominated for the Italian Capital of Culture in exactly the Corona year 2020 and had prepared for numerous guests with numerous events. Unfortunately, this event fell victim to the pandemic. This should be made up for in 2021. Come to Parma, the city and our tour guides are waiting for you!
The city won the competition with the slogan “Culture beats time”. Parma is located in Emilia Romagna in the Po Plain and was the home of the great musicians Giuseppe Verdi, Arturo Toscanini and Luciano Pavarotti. From Parma, you can visit their birthplaces. The most famous and world-known gourmet specialties are the Parma ham and the Parmesan cheese called Parmigiano Reggiano. Enjoy with us the city of excellent Italian cuisine and experience art and music.
The city has prepared an interesting cultural program for 2021, restaurants will be gearing up their menus and the historical sites and highlights of the city will shine in the best light. We recommend planning for a visit as part of a trip to Tuscany or Cinqueterre. Please let us know if we can help you with that.
