L’Italia rinasce con un Fiore – The Project of Stefano Boeri
The Italian Architect Stefano Boeri (who has created the Vertical Forest in Milan) has developed an architectural concept for the Italian Anti-Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign. We don’t want to just vaccinate. We want to do it in style. Italy is the Design center of the world.
Under the slogan “L’Italia rinasce con un Fiore” – “With a flower, Italy comes back to life”, the proposal of the designer are temporary pavilions in form of a pink springtime flower.
Stefano Boeri: “With the image of a springtime flower, we wanted to create an architecture that would convey a symbol of serenity and regeneration. Getting vaccinated will be an act of civic responsibility, love for others, and the rediscovery of life. If this virus has locked us up in hospitals and homes, the vaccine will bring us back into contact with life and the nature that surrounds us”.
FIS Alpine World Ski Championship Cortina 2021
The well-known winter sports resort of Cortina d’Ampezzo will host the Alpine Ski World Championships from February 7 to 21, 2021. The competitions take place at the foot of the Tofane massif, the fascinating Queen of the Dolomites.
In the Dolomites, athletes from 70 countries will fight for the world title. The World Cup will be broadcast live on television and digital media, so you can enjoy two weeks of great winter sports at home.
Milan Fashion Week Spring 2021
- The Milan Fashion Week for Women’s fashion will be held online from 23 February to 1 March 2021 with the collection of fall/winter 2021/2022.
- The Milan Fashion Week for Men’s fashion will be held from 15 to 19 January 2021 with the collection of fall/winter 2021/2022.
Both of them will probably take place online.

Bergamo and Brescia – Italian Capitals of Culture 2023
The cities of Bergamo and Brescia has received the nomination of Italian Capitals of Culture 2023. The extraordinary nomination of Bergamo and Brescia as Italian Capitals of Culture in 2023 is a sign of hope and Renaissance. The two cities Bergamo and Brescia have been particularly affected by the health emergency of the coronavirus in spring 2020. The power of rebirth after suffering caused by the pandemic will be recognized with the title Italian Capitals of Culture 2023.
Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026
From 6 to 22 February 2026 the Italian cities of Milano and Cortina d’Ampezzo, queen of the Dolomites, will host the XXV Olympic Winter Games.
Together with the cities Milan and Cortina, the host cities, the Italian regions Lombardy, Veneto, Trento and Bolzano are convolved to the XXV Olympic Winter Games. Competitions will also take place in the important winter sports areas of Valtellina, Val di Fiemme and Anterselva.
