Under the baton of the brilliant Italian conductor Michele Gamba, this highly anticipated event unites the formidable forces of the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra and Chorus, trained by chorus master Alberto Malazzi.

This special evening offers a rare opportunity to experience one of the most celebrated voices of our time performing inside the historic walls of the Piermarini. Bringing together unmatched vocal fireworks, dramatic intensity, and the theater’s rich musical heritage, this concert promises to be an unforgettable pinnacle of the autumn cultural season.

The carefully curated program celebrates the golden era of Italian opera, focusing on three cornerstones of the vocal repertoire. Juan Diego Flórez showcases his legendary technical brilliance, famous high notes, and deep emotional sensitivity through a selection of spectacular arias, dramatic scenes, and orchestral highlights by Gaetano Donizetti, Gioachino Rossini, and Giuseppe Verdi. From the lightning-fast, witty rhythms of Rossinian comedy to the heart-wrenching lyrical melodies of Donizettian Bel Canto and the powerful, epic choruses of Verdi’s mature dramatic masterpieces, the evening is a breathtaking showcase of vocal and orchestral virtuosity.
