Three Ballet Masterpieces at La Scala
This September, Teatro alla Scala presents Trittico, an extraordinary ballet evening that brings together three iconic works from the 20th century – each a celebration of the dancer’s craft, artistry, and discipline.
The evening begins with Études by Harald Lander, a refined and elegant depiction of the dancer’s journey, from early training at the barre to the full brilliance of stage performance. This classic returns to La Scala after more than two decades.
Next comes the exquisite Petite Mort by Jiří Kylián, set to two of Mozart’s most beloved piano concertos. With its blend of lyricism and sensuality, it is a masterpiece of neoclassical expression.
Finally, the iconic Boléro by Maurice Béjart explodes in rhythmic intensity, set to Ravel’s mesmerizing score. This legendary piece features the return of Roberto Bolle on the famous round table on four evenings (September 22, 24, 28, and 30).
