How to dress for the Theatre?

We often receive questions about the dress code. Please allow us to give suggestions. It’s primarily about making you feel comfortable and not out of place. There is no strict dress code.

Visiting the Theatre is an emotional experience and you are sitting in the best places the house has to offer. We recommend elegant evening wear, gentlemen are well advised in the Smoking or suit with bow tie. Absolute minimum is slags and jacket. We recommend an elegant dress to the ladies, it may, but does not have to be a long dress. You are also well dressed in elegant trousers. You are not rejected if he comes without a tie and she wears flat shoes, by no means. But you may feel better if you can empathize and be confident with yourself.

Taking pictures inside the Theater

Photography is permitted during breaks, but strictly prohibited during the performance. The photos may only be used privately, but may not be published or posted.
