Prokof’ev’s Cenerentola (Cinderella) is a masterpiece of ballet that continues to captivate audiences with its enchanting blend of music, storytelling, and dance. Composed between 1940 and 1944, during one of the most turbulent periods of the 20th century, Prokof’ev’s score for Cenerentola is both a reflection of the composer’s personal experiences and a tribute to the enduring power of fairy tales.
