Program and Artists

This Voice Recital is a passionate tribute to Giuseppe Verdi (1813–1901), whose music dominated the Italian opera repertoire and shaped the musical language of the 19th century.

The Artists

• Francesco Meli (Tenor): One of the leading tenors of his generation, especially celebrated for his Verdi and Bel Canto roles. Meli is valued for his impeccable technique, his warm yet dramatically supported sound, and his impressive ability to combine the lyrical and heroic aspects of his roles.
• Luca Salsi (Baritone): An internationally sought-after baritone, known for his powerful voice, clear articulation, and outstanding dramatic intensity in the great Verdi baritone roles. He is an audience favorite at La Scala and a guarantee for passionate and convincing performances.
• Nelson Calzi (Piano): An accomplished répétiteur and pianist, known for his sensitive accompaniment and deep understanding of the operatic scores. The piano accompaniment lends an intimate yet focused expressive power to the often orchestrally complex arias.

Prices and Booking

The price of the opera package depends on the selected hotel and the season. Please specify with your request if you prefer the essential package (ticket and hotel) or the superior package with dinner, aperitif with a light meal before the performance, and a private city walking tour in Milan.
