With this program, we offer you a good balance between a pure golf trip, relaxation at a beach hotel and interesting day trips. You have plenty of free time and a rental car at your disposal. The hotel also has a spa, fitness center and of course a beach and swimming pool.
La Plage Resort is located on the beach opposite the island with a nature reserve. The guests are international. The design is modern and timeless. The restaurant serves Sicilian-Mediterranean cuisine and a good selection of wines from Sicily.
On the organized excursions, you will be accompanied by local guides, who will explain everything to you and answer your further questions. We will take you to Mount Etna. It overlooks the Taormina amphitheater over the city and the sea with the threatening volcano in full view. You will visit a typical village in the hinterland, where you will find the bar where the film “The Godfather” was shot. You will experience the beautiful landscape at Savoca, where you will also visit the monastery. We will take you to a fascinating private house, Casa Cuseni in Taormina. Finally, you will visit a winery 700 meters above sea level. Bacchus always knew where it is beautiful.

The above price has been calculated for 4 participants including entrance fees. Depending on the season, the desired car class, the desired additional services and the total number of participants, the prices will be different. Please let us know the number of participants and the special wishes with your request. We then recalculate everything. This program can be booked all year round.
Golf
You can play golf at 600 m altitude at the edge of Mount Etna. The Il Picciolo Golf Club has 18 holes and par 72. The slightly hilly course nestles on ancient lava fields and offers a magnificent panorama from its breath-taking position.
The golf club is about 50 minutes by car from your hotel. You can also set up your accommodation there in the Golf hotel, but we believe it is nicer to spend the evenings at the seaside.

We have chosen the La Plage Resort, 4 stars, in Taormina for this trip. Located directly on the beach opposite Isola Bella, it has a great restaurant, very nice rooms in different categories, even small bungalows. We reserve double rooms with a view of the sea unless otherwise agreed. The house also has a spa, outdoor jacuzzi and all sorts of extras to make yourself feel comfortable.

Exclusive and in your language
The trip is organized for you and your fellow travelers. No additional visitors are able to take part. The program is carried out with a locally licensed tourist guide in the desired language. We have experienced tourist guides for German, English, Chinese, Italian. Other languages on request.

Important Note
Mount Etna is an active volcano that is well guarded. Still, there is a risk. The ascent may be blocked at short notice and the tour needs to be canceled. The Catania airport may also close when Mount Etna blows ashes in the air. We have to live with that risk. Program changes are then inevitable.
For the tours and ascent to the volcano, you need comfortable shoes and some stamina. The Etna tour is not suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
