The opera Il Turco in Italia (The Turk in Italy) had its premiere at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan in 1814. The role of Fiorilla in the 2020 season will be by Rosa Feola, an Italian starlet. Maria Callas starred as Fiorilla in 1955, also at La Scala.

The performance takes 3 hours 5 minutes with intermission included. With your premium tickets, you can access the Toscanini Foyer to enjoy a Spumante in the intermission and to see and be seen. During the performance the lyrics will be displayed in original language, you can also select English, on the back of the seat in front of you.
