Giselle is a tragic romantic love story with a peasant woman, Giselle, and a noble man Albrecht. A highlight of the classical ballet with great challenges for the dancers.
Romantic ballet in two acts. One of the most frequently performed pieces in classic style. First performance in Paris in 1841 followed by the first performance in Italy in 1843 at La Scala in Milan. A difficult piece for solo dancers, which all the famous artists try and are remembered for.
Performance by the Teatro alla Scala Ballet Company. The music is performed by the Teatro alla Scala Academy Orchestra. Two acts without break.
