"Guillaume Tell", Rossini's last masterpiece, was written especially for the Paris audience and will be presented for the first time in the original French version at La Scala in Milan. The musical direction is in the hands of Michele Mariotti, an outstanding Rossini interpreter, and the direction is in the hands of Chiara Muti, a talented director who developed her skills at the Piccolo Teatro di Milano and has already directed opera productions for prestigious houses such as the Opera di Roma, the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples and the Regio in Turin.
