The Sleeping Beauty by Rudolf Nureyev
The Sleeping Beauty is a ballet in a prologue and three acts, based on the fairy tale by Charles Perrault. Rudolf Nureyev’s interpretation for La Scala enhances Marius Petipa’s classical choreography with refined theatricality and psychological depth, especially in the character of the Prince. Set to Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s rich and lyrical score, the production is a visual feast inspired by the grandeur of Louis XIV’s court. Upgrade to a 5-star hotel in the immediate city center. We selected for you the excellent Grand Hotel et de Milan, where Giuseppe Verdi lived from 1872 and where he composed “Othello” and “Falstaff”. Other options near are the Bulgari Hotel, Armani Hotel, Park Hyatt etc. The final price depends very much on the hotel brand and the time of booking.

This trip is very popular as a special Christmas present and therefore quickly sold out. The theatre reserves the right to postpone dates and performances or to change the cast. We do not take responsibility for this.
The city tour takes place in all weathers and we recommend comfortable footwear. If you would like to visit the cathedral from the inside, please indicate this when booking so that we can get the tickets in time. Critical to impossible to get tickets short-term for Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting, the Last Supper. We, therefore, need to know at an early stage whether you are interested in further tours in Milan.
