Milan and Lakes Short Trip – Gourmet Travel Italy for Groups of Friends
Do you love Italy, i’s cuisine and Italian wine? Your culinary journey will take you to Milan and the surrounding northern Italian lakes and you will get to know the special products that nature produces. When you visit a winery, you will taste the wines and the typical dishes of the country, which are always freshly prepared depending on the season.
The offer is ideal for small groups of friends, clubs or a short trip to Men’s Day. The pleasure trip includes 4 days – 3 nights in a hotel in Milan with excursions to the northern Italian lakes with a boat trip and tasting at a winery. For the tours we provide you with a minibus with a driver.
Gourmet and Pleasure Travel to Milan and Lakes with Food and Wine
Upon your arrival in Milan, we will pick you up from the train station or the airport and take you to your hotel.
In the afternoon you will meet your guide for an walking city tour. The introductory tour begins at the famous Milan Cathedral, which is considered one of the most beautiful churches in the world. You walk through the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery to the Piazza Scala with the world-famous opera house. At the end of the tour there will be a typical Milanese aperitivo with some appetizers.
On the second day, take a trip to the beautiful Lake Iseo, where Cristo installed his Floating Piers artwork in 2016. Along the way, stop for a wine tasting in the wine-growing region of Lombardy. Famous types of sparkling wine come from the Franciacorta region, which are considered to be the champagne of Italy. After a guided tour of a wine cellar, you will taste them together with typical products of the region.
On a trip to the legendary Lake Como, where not only George Clooney has his villa, you can take a boat trip on the lake.
Your guide will accompany you through the streets of Como within the old city walls and tell you the exciting history of the city, from its founding by Julius Caesar to the splendor of the Middle Ages and the famous physicist Alessandro Volta. Afterwards you enjoy the products of the region with a glass of wine at a tasting.
On the last day you can either get to know Milan better on a guided tour or take a trip to Lake Maggiore, where you can explore the three Borromean Islands by boat.
From here it is not far to Malpensa Airport and our bus will take you to the departure terminal.

The artist couple Christo and Jeanne-Claude made Lake Iseo famous around the world. In 2016, the floating piers were installed across the lake for two weeks, on which over a million people walked barefoot across the lake.
Franciacorta Wine Region
The Franciacorta wine-growing region with its top-quality sparkling wines is also known as Italy’s champagne.
Como and Como Lake
Como is a popular tourist destination and place for excursions. The beautiful long promenade and the historic city center within the city walls attract visitors in all seasons. From the jetty you can take round trips across the entire lake.
Lake Como, with its elegant lakeside villas and Mediterranean gardens, has always been a retreat and vacation spot for Milan’s nobility. Today the villas are privately owned.
Maggiore Lake
The beautiful Lago Maggiore with the Borromean Islands in the middle of the lake is one of the beautiful northern Italian lakes and is a popular holiday and excursion destination from Milan and Turin.
