A symphonic explosion of color high above the azure sea: On Friday, 24 July, the prestigious Rai National Symphony Orchestra (Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai), under the baton of the charismatic conductor Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, performs a spectacular concert on the Belvedere of Villa Rufolo. The evening promises a masterclass in orchestral virtuosity and vivid musical storytelling. Immerse yourself in the driving rhythms and exotic allure of Aram Khachaturian’s iconic ballet Gayaneh (featuring the legendary Sabre Dance). The performance culminates in a breathtaking auditory gallery as Modest Mussorgsky’s monumental Pictures at an Exhibition comes alive in the brilliantly colorful, world-famous orchestration by Maurice Ravel.
