During a private tour, you will get to know the heart of Venice, the famous St. Mark’s Square, and you will visit the palace where the Doges once lived. The Doge was the chief magistrate and leader of the Republic of Venice. From that palace the “Sigh Bridge” leads to prison cell of the famous seducer Casanova. A bridge of no return for prisoners, hence the name.
You will visit then one of the most unusual and beautiful bookshops in the world. Before heading for the important moment. Of course, a romantic gondola ride in the early evening is not to be missed, where you can make your proposal or renew your promise during the beguiling singing of the gondolier at sunset.
With a romantic dinner in a typical restaurant near St. Mark’s Square, you can enjoy the fresh local dishes of the season with a good bottle of wine. Everything will be pre-arranged so you do not neet to touch money that evening.

The indicated price was calculated for 2 participants including entrance fees, without overnights and travel costs. The program can be booked only with a hotel stay. We will provide you the suitable hotels. This price is for orientation only. It will be recalculated with your request for a booking. Hotel can be added and dinner venue can be selected to match your expectations.
The tour is organized only for you and your fellow travelers and is carried out with a local licensed tourist guide in your language. Choose from English, German, Italian. Other languages we need to check.

The price includes:
- Private walking tour showing the highlights of Venice and the Doge’s palace (guide speaks your language, duration of the walking tour about 2 hours 30 minutes)
- Entrance to the Doge’s Palace with your guide
- Visit to an unusual bookshop near St, Marcs square
- Gondola ride about 35 minutes with Italian singing (no better place to make your proposal)
- Gourmet dinner in a historical restaurant in the heart of Venice (set menu, including wine and drinks)

Notes
This program can be booked all year round. If you have fallen in love not only with your partner but also with Venice, you can stay longer. We can organize a trip to the island of glassblowers, an opera performance at the famous theater La Fenice and a guided stroll through the district of Cannaregio with the first Jewish ghetto in the world. Venice is best enjoyed in the evenings when daytime visitors are back on their cruise ship or have left alltogether.
We will be happy to provide a suitable hotel, private transfers, and all additional requests. The program can be expanded and combined with other cities in Italy.
