“The Tales of Hoffmann” is a fantastic opera in five acts by Jacques Offenbach . The opera tells the story of the poet Hoffmann and his unfortunate love experiences, which are influenced by the evil influences of the characters Lindorf, Coppélius, Dapertutto and Dr. Miracle to be accompanied. While Hoffmann is sitting in a wine bar waiting for a performance, he tells his friends about his past love affairs. Each act represents a new story in which Hoffmann meets and falls in love with various women, but each relationship ends in tragedy. In the end, Hoffmann realizes that his true muse and inspiration lies in his friend Nicklausse. The opera explores themes of love, art, fantasy and the fragility of human relationships.
