Tour of Milan’s historic centre
On the first day of your Milan city break, you will visit the historic center of Milan with Cathedral Square, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Piazza Della Scala, Piazza Mercanti. Entrance to the cathedral and up to the cathedral roof.
After a tasting of typical Italian specialities, you are strengthened for a stroll through the Porta Ticinese area with the excavations from the Roman era, the park of the basilicas with the Basilica of San Lorenzo and the Church of Sant ‘Eustorgio. Here you can learn the story of the Holy 3 kings whose relics were kidnapped from Barbarossa and taken to Cologne, Germany.
The last stop is the Naviglio Grande, the waterway in Milan, with its bars, restaurants and artist boutiques in the courtyards. A beautiful area to relax and enjoy nice food.
On the second day, you will get to know the hypermodern Milan , which was created on the occasion of World Expo 2015. In the Porta Nuovo area, star architect Stefano Boeri has built the Bosco verticale (vertical forest) skyscrapers that won the architecture prize. You will visit the Monumental Cemetery, a wonderful open-air museum.
The third day is reserved for the fashion and design city. You will visit the fashion district with the boutiques of fashion designers and the Brera design district.
Your guide will point out the sights on the way and give you the backbround information and stories that brings the city to life.
The quoted price was calculated for 8 participants including entrance fees. We will provide an indivual offer upon your request. We need to know the number of participants from your family or group of friends. The program will be organized only for you and your party and is carried out with a licensed local tourist guide in your preferred language.
